Thank you!

Greetings everyone!
This is just the usual filler post which has no real content and is just put up to make sure that the blog doesn't go into cellular atrophy between one animation and the next.
I'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has been posting recently and for all your nice words regarding the latest episode/s of Bedtime Kevin! So without further ado, thank you:
Ashlyn, Seema, Dawn, Clarence, Winston and Melissa! You're all fantastic people and much love to you all.
Some news, The Southampton Student Film Festival is rolling along again for a fourth year and, just like last year, I'm submitting. Tapirobot! A Minstrel Remembers and The Fun Rainbow Wish Glitter Puppy Show to be exact.
Last but not least, amidst exam revision, I've been noodling around with ideas for the next episode of BK! Above and Below are some early character designs for a robot teaching assistant.
Stay tuned and thanks again!

Animation: The Fun Rainbow Wish Glitter Puppy Show!

All the children gathered round the remnants of the plutonium fire and rubbed their mutated limbs together for extra warmth. The Nuclear Winter had dragged on, unstoppable, plunging the Earth into a new Ice Age. The wisest of all the cockroach men stood up from his shattered toilet seat throne and extracted a pocket television from his abdomen. This is what he showed the children.

EDIT: there were supposed to be credits at the end but vimeo didn't like them for some reason. Just to let you know that the lovely Aorta Gumdrop was voiced by the even lovelier Celia Cleaveland.

Back to work - part 2

So yay verily, I'm back in Southampton.

The weather is as undecided as ever, ranging from summer heat wave to tropical thunder storm.
Almost all of my written coursework is done and soon I shall be able to make a new animation.
Judging by the lack of comments here lately, I gather that some new content may be more than a little welcome.

to anyone who follows, stalks or haphazardly stumbles onto this blog, please tell your friends and co-workers and robot slaves all about BEDTIME, KEVIN! (the name of the animated series what I've been doing).
I would really appreciate it, as I'd love to get the viewership a tad higher by the time the new episode is ready.
It has hamsters and seventies grooviness!

Thank you and good night!

Back to work

Hello everyone!

Well, April has drawn to a close and we are well into May. The day after tomorrow, I return to Southampton.
I won't whine for ages, like I usually do: suffice to say, I'm not completely looking forward to it. Lately stuff has been happening that makes me feel all the more obligated to stay here with my family. There is one ray of sunshine waiting for me in Soton, however. Maybe it'll turn into a rainbow.

That makes no sense.
Either way, I'll be going back there soon.

Changing subject, thanks to Winston and anyone else who watched the latest animations, either here, on vimeo or youtube.
I feel as if I've settled into a comfortable style now and I'm almost 90% sure this is going to turn into a regular series.
This has lead me to go into a panic over what the series should be called.
Over fifty possible titles so far. Nowhere near a decision.

(EDIT: The series is going to be called 'Bedtime, Kevin!' > see badge link on the sidebar)

Not much else to add other than thanks, and I'll see you on the other side of the Channel.
Well, technically, there's also France in the middle, before that.
Sorry, France.
