Character design: Gronk and Tilt

Several months ago - to be precise, a year - I made a humble little stop-motion animation entitled 'Gronk vs. Tilt'.
It featured the short and yet somehow climactic battle between two alien space-ships.
Last night I started thinking about what Gronk and Tilt might actually look like.
And here they are. I leave you to decide which is which.

Hopefully, if I can get a good enough story together, they may star in a new short animation.
I don't know why, but I have a feeling they could provide an interesting and funny tale. I really like how they came out and I've already been trying on voices for them. At the moment Gronk sounds a bit like Bruce Willis and Tilt a lot like The Critic's Franklin Sherman. PENGUINS CAN'T FLY!

Comments and suggestions appreciated, as always.
It's good to have an actual drawing up here on the blog again. It's been too long.

Er, ahem... Awesome designs, anyway! And i have nothing to add to that. Thou art skilled in the creating of characters, as well as the creating of Highly Amusing Stop-Motion (thanks for the link to that, i'd forgotten about that one). I love the helmet on Gronk, i can totally imagine his face sliding back and forth on there like it was a badly-tuned video screen or something.

I have toyed with the idea of having Gronk (I presume you mean the one on the right?) as being an almost completely robotic cyborg, and the tv-screen-face would fit well with that. Be murder to animate though :-)

I must now rush off and comment on your latest opus, as per internet artistic fellowship etiquette.

Oh, so I was wrong? Gronk is the blue/green and Tilt is the red? Huh, to me they sould like the other way around. But hey, they're your characters :P .

Love the designs though, I want the left one's boots and to know what the function of the right's third eye is.
