Animation: Partypooper

Partypooper from Trenino Fumato on Vimeo.

I'm not all that happy with how this one turned out (particularly the lip-synching to 'big time' and arm movements), but I guess it's all practise. Hopefully the next one will turn out better. I find claymation highly enjoyable, except when stuff falls down or loses limbs... or my camera's battery suddenly dies... sigh.
Ah well. Please let me know what you think.
Over and out.

I tell you what i think, my friend: this animation rules, this animation rules big time. You, my friend, can do memorable stuff in like three seconds, which is obviously a good sign.

Thank you very much, Rowntree. I still can't get over my qualms with it, but I'm glad people are enjoying it, obviously *smiley face*

Love the new name of the blog, by the way. Plus your occupation is listed as "hideous mutant," which had me laughing, well, big time.

Thanks, I just thought it sounded cooler than 'brain station'. And the hideous mutant occupation has been there for more than two years, I think. Just goes to show how many people check out blogger profiles :-D

loving all the claymation stuff- d'you work over an armature?

I did for Duel Challenge, but I didn't for Partypooper... which is probably why is arm kept flopping down half-way through shooting :-D

And by armature I mean an unravelled coat-hanger wrapped in tin-foil :-)

I like his lack of eyes.

Coat hanger armatures are the best tho, so cheap!
