Congrats, man, that was really well done. I've seen animated shorts adapted from comics that were pointless/terrible/bungled (i'm looking directly at you, michael kupperman), but this sure wasn't one of them. I love seeing an actually good artist at work (pretty rare in my field), an artist who has that magical quality that lets them skip all the cliches and mistakes that the hacks spend a lifetime repeating. Maybe it's just intelligence, or honesty, or Talent. Whatever it is, I reckon this's the first step on a pretty great journey for you.High five!!
Very good! I shall draw a cactus woman tonight!
Thanks guys :-)
Awwwww ... I've always liked that story of yours, and now you've done a great job of "bringing it to life." Very well done, Tom! :-D
I've already praised you and shared my opinion with you on this but one thing I haven't said is how much of a treat it has been to see the development of this from a few seconds of animation into the finished cartoon.
@Sea: Thank you very much, it does feel as if I put a little of my own life into the project. It was certainly a labour of love, and I'm really happy it's been well-received.@Comps:Thank you again, my friend. I'll be sure to keep you and everyone else who reads posted on whatever my next project is going to be :-)
really nice job! i really like your animation style. keep up the good work and let me know when you do another.
That was pretty dern good! There were some pretty nifty bits of storytelling in there, too. Liked it. Very deserving of a Booyah. Kudos!
@wiec: Thank you, and I most certainly will :-)@Mikey: Thank you for your booyah, I shall treasure it forever :-)

@CK: Celia will be very happy to know that :-)@Meg: Thank you very much! Stay tuned :-)
Hey! That was really rad, a great balance of thought and a bit of humor. Nice style, too! Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with. Great job, man :)
That's so sad! Excellent use of a good story and minimal animation.
